Through her lifetime love of teddy bears, she decided in 1994 to expand her studio to include collectible artist bears..........She was honored at the GREAT AMERICAN TEDDY BEAR RALLY for BARNEY BEAR. Lori Jean received a Certificate of Commendation from the County of Los Angeles, California for donating her bears to children's hospitals and centers. She also worked with the STARLIGHT FOUNDATION in getting her bears out to terminally-ill children..........She was honored with her biography being listed in MARQUIS' WHO'S WHO IN THE WORLD, WHO'S WHO IN AMERICA, WHO'S WHO OF AMERICAN WOMEN and WHO'S WHO IN THE EAST. When her mother passed away in February of 1999, she decided that one of the best ways to honor her would be to rename her studio JOSIE'S INSPIRATION CREATIVE STUDIO since her mother was a true inspiration to Lori Jean and was her best friend.
